How to work with the templates for your product


Below is information about using the templates for your product.


Adobe Illustrator

 How to work with the Illustrator templates

After opening, first duplicate and place your layers in My Layer: Window - Layers
"My layer" is your design layer.
Before saving, delete or hide the other layers to avoid printing these. They are only there for your help whilst designing and laying out your design.

Files with two or more pages; you will find a seperate help layer for the front page and one for the back page. When designing one layer, hide the others.

When saving your design, make sure to name your file accordingly.

The numbers in the circle identify the pages which you want to design. Number 1 is always the cover sheet of your finished product.

 How to work with the PDF templates

The PDF documents contain all the important information and dimensions you will need to create a print file in the program of your choice.

Please make sure that you design your file in the correct resolution (min. 300dpi) and colour space (CMYK).

The numbers in the circle identify the pages which you want to design. Number 1 is always the cover sheet of your finished product.

The PDF file contains all the pages you need to create your product.

Please make sure that you save the pages separately and using clear names if your program does not have the option of designing multiple pages in one document.
